This is what gave them access to the numbers, not some bogus US Navy job. LostPedia gives his US Navy job a date of 1988, three years after the incident (as noted on Blast Door Map), I think this date is when they were stationed there inputting the numbers every 108 minutes.

Also since Leonard, Libby, Mrs Locke & Hugo were all in Santa Rosa, is it not possible that the DIHG owned that facility just as they did with the Vik institution in Iceland from the old ARG.

Now I know Rousseau said her team 'heard' the Numbers being transmitted - but I've never believed Rousseau, i mean 16 years on the Island & c'mon, she was Dharma (arrived same time as Kelvin Inman?).

Further Hanso himself talks about the transmission of the numbers.... so perhaps I've got this wrong & Leonard & Sam were in a US Navy listening post after all. Damn.

cheers

Comment on Dharma Dummies Episode 22: The History of the Dharma Initiative

Sheer brilliance! I was sooo looking forward to this, and you guys did not let me down! Great attention to detail, great theories, I particularly liked Chris's theory on what happened to the De Groot's...very interesting, indeed. Can´t wait for your next installment. As soon as it's up, I'll be dowloading it faster than you can say, "The island won't let you die."
Namaste,
Clem

Comment on Dharma, Dharma and some more Dharma.

Hi,Goatboy :)
Yes, I did hear that. I was told that they American version is running on a different mythology, though, so I can watch the British one without spoiling the American - at least I hope so. I have seen it on Hulu or one of view online stations and I really want to see the British version.

I bet the British one was really awesome - especially the music. Are you watching the American version?

Peace, Laura

Comment on Dharma, Dharma and some more Dharma.

Hi Laura, did you know Life On Mars is a British TV programme, sold to the States to remake. It was a good show in England, good luck with the US version

Comment on Prepare to have your brains sent into overdrive!!! I feel like climbing a wall right about now.

Onr thing I noticed in this clip.. I am prob. way wrong here, but all the oceanic 6 (except baby Aaron), plus Ben and Desknwere dark haired. The ones on the island were blonde, redhead or bald. Oh, but then there is Miles. Did he leave or stay? And Daniel, he has gone to another place off island, yes?

One side is dark (the off island ) and one side is light (the on island) except for the ones who are probably the ancients, such as Richard. Maybe the darker side has to mix with the light side somehow...

Oh, I am not stoned. It is just a crack pot theory. But I keep coming back to Locke's vision of Boone at the airport. Ben zapped Jack, who was fiddling with a watch (his Dad's?). Then ben says thank god for second chances. I hope Ben gets his. He is the true tragic hero of Lost, I think. Not Locke. I know there is something really important in that vision, but I haven't found the key yet....

Comment on Dharma, Dharma and some more Dharma.

oops forgot to say that I really like your new logo and Carta D'idioto signiture!

Comment on Dharma, Dharma and some more Dharma.

I can't wait for the podcasts and new swag (swagger?). I am glad our Dummies are amoung us once again.

I have been watching the new ABC show Life on Mars = another mixture of present time with the 1970s. It is an awesme show in its own right, however given that the producers/writers were writers on Alias I keep looking for clues from Ben. So far I haven't found one, but perhaps I am not looking deep enough.

I look at Fringe, and even despite different networks (networks, schmetworks) I KNOW there is Dharma involvement. I wonder if the jake from their comicbook is the Jake from the Dark Tower series. That's it! Midworld is the nexus of Dharma and Dharma from the 1970s to its current resurrection.

Time is but an illusion... but enough now, I am running late in making dinner. No time, No time.

Gee, I wish it was still the sixties and seventies. I want a time bubble.

Don't worry about me I am really quite sane as my dear friend Dan Faraday will attest. I eagerly await the magic of Dharma Past and Dharma Future as entered via the podcasts of the Dharma Dummie Men. ;D

Comment on Dharma, Dharma and some more Dharma.

oh happy day!

Comment on Prepare to have your brains sent into overdrive!!! Terrific! Though I warn you, some of those pesky Black Swans have gotten rather vicious and divisive with the podcasting hiatus.
