On this Grandmacast, Grandma Dharma tackles the ever important question for many Lost fans "Jack or Sawyer?"
Aside from the relative "cuteness" of Mr. Shephard and Mr. Ford, we answer a few listener questions and finally decide whether Ben is evil or not. Enjoy.
She actually sang the song.......awwwww.I can´t believe she picked Jack! As a staunch Skater, I was a bit disappointed in Grandma´s choice because I think, seriously now, that Sawyer´s character has made TREMENDOUS progress. He has really evolved and I think as of the end of Season 4, he´s a better candidate for Kate than Jack. This former conman, who distanced himself from the other survivors at the beginning and wanted nothing better than to cuddle up with his stash of booze and porn, has changed his way ways. Let´s consider not only his heroic jump from the helicopter (sniff, sniff), but also the fact that all through Season 4 he has consistently tried to help others selflessly: rescuing Claire while still under attack from the Keamy group, trying to protect her from Miles, rushing off to get Hurley, etc...let´s face it he´s been great...and a lot more than just a pretty face, an all-American hunk of beef, the very epitome of .......sorry I digress......Whatever "bad things" happened after the O6 left, whatever evil is now in possession of our beloved island, my one consolation is that Sawyer is there to fight it. All Jack ever wanted was to get off the freakin´island; we all saw how he was totally prepared to get on that sub and never look back. And as for Kate....she´s not good enough for James anyway, wishy-washy, one day she´s with Sawyer, the next with Jack. I hope that Juliet takes the opportunity to snatch up the handsome Mr. Ford. I´ve said my peace.

After rewatching Something Nice Back Home, I gotta say I'm now in the Skater camp. Jack was a jerk, class A, and Sawyer has reall risen to the occasion this last season, constantly looking out for Hurley, sacrificing himself for those on the copter, and risking himself for Claire and Aaron.

I'm stickin' with my grams on this one. I'll stay in Jack's corner, with one major caveat. He became a real wet blanket throughout season four. As a fellow "daddy issues," guy, I can sympathize but the good doctor needs to get over it. I hope he sees a therapist before he, Ben and company head back to the island.
